South Korean government actively supports businesses to export overseas

What Korean brands are famous in your country? You're probably familiar with big brands like Samsung, Hyundai, and Kia. But what about the smaller brands? Have you ever bought any products made by small and medium-sized enterprises in Korea? Maybe you haven't, and that's understandable, because almost all of Korea's exports are made by large companies. Currently, Korea's overseas exports are concentrated in large-scale exports such as semiconductors, automobiles, ships, and construction.
As a result, the Korean government has recently increased its support for small and medium-sized enterprises in exporting through various government ministries and related agencies and organisations. They provide a lot of support for small and medium-sized enterprises to start or expand their exports. Banks lend money, but there are also many other ways to help small and medium-sized enterprises start contacting overseas buyers. For example, government-organised exhibitions actively match exhibitors with international buyers.
In South Korea, for example, there have been a number of recent initiatives to leverage big data and AI to match buyers. K-TradeHub.com introduces Korean manufacturers to overseas buyers. Our portal provides information for overseas companies to search for the items they want and get in touch with the companies that manufacture them. In addition, we also conduct online marketing to further introduce unique items from Korean companies to international buyers.
